Obituary for Jacquelin Lee Waddell

November 25, 1941 - April 6, 2018

Jacquelin L. Waddell 76, of Waterloo, Iowa, died April 6, at her home.

She was born November 25, 1941, in Des Moines, the daughter of Alfred and Alice Marsh Dunagan. She married Dennis Waddell in 1964 in Des Moines. They later divorced. Dennis died in 2016.

Jacquelin graduated from North High School in Des Moines in 1961. She was a bank teller at US Bank for several years before retiring in 2004.

Survived by: her significant other of 20 years, Robert Smith of Waterloo; a daughter, Robyn Waddell of Waterloo; a sister, Margaret Dunagan Taylor of Springfield, Mo.; a grandson, Raykwan Hawkins; a great-granddaughter, Miyeli Hawkins; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: her parents; and a sister, Karen Alexander

Services: 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway. Public visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 10 at the funeral home, where there will be a 4:00 p.m. rosary. Visitation will also be for an hour before services.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
