Biography--

Cynthia “Cindy” Sue Neessen, 67, Waterloo, died at Rosewood Estate of Friendship Village, Sunday, March 25, 2018.

She was born November 3, 1950 in Waterloo, daughter of Laurence and Maureen Valentine Neessen. She graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1968. Cindy worked at Sears in customer merchandising for over 30 years, retiring in November 2012.

She was a lifelong member of Unity Presbyterian Church. Cindy loved watching sports, especially football and basketball. She enjoyed going to the casino and watching the squirrels outside. Cindy was known to have a sweet tooth.

She is survived by a Brother, Gary Neessen, Waterloo, IA; three sisters: Carol (Jim) Brainerd, Bettendorf, IA, Vicki (Mike) Tjepkes, Wellsburg, IA, and Debra Ammiano, Waterloo, IA, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
