Glen Leonard Lantz

Glen Leonard Lantz, 56, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, formerly of Waterloo, died Friday March 9, 2018 as a result of natural causes. He was born June 25, 1961 in Waterloo, the son of Delbert and AmyLou (White) Lantz. He married Janet (Smith) Lantz on June 19, 1993, in Waterloo, Iowa.

Glen graduated from East High School in 1979 and pursued his college education at The University of Northern Iowa and The University of Southern Illinois. Glen obtained his Master of Arts Degree in sociology and worked as Director of Institutional Research at Clarke College in Dubuque, Iowa and most recently at The University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Glen was an avid Green Bay Packers fan, drummer, painter, reader and writer. He enjoyed listening to many genres of music. He loved to attend concerts and have weekend excursions in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area with his wife Janet. Glen enjoyed spending time with his daughter Haley and granddaughter Amber. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Glen is survived by his wife and companion of over 25 years, Janet (Smith) Lantz; daughters Haley Sarita Lantz (Albuquerque, New Mexico) and Chananchida Malian (Thailand); a son, Nisarg Shah (India); granddaughter Amber Sarita (Albuquerque, NM); a brother, Terry Lantz (Waterloo); Susan Lantz (Waterloo); and many loved brother and sister-in-laws as well as nieces and nephews.

Glen was preceded in death by his father Delbert Lantz, mother AmyLou (White) Lantz, and brother Steven Lantz.
