Independence, Iowa – Jacob John Lake, son of Jessica L. and James M. Lake, was stillborn on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo, Iowa.

He is survived by his parents, Jessica and James of Independence; three sisters: Jenavieve Lake, Juliana Lake, and Jaclynn Lake, all at home; his grandparents, Sue and Bill Lake of Independence, Phyllis and Randall Tansey of Brandon, IA, and one great-grandmother, Shirley Bylund of Audubon, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jonah M. Lake, in infancy.

There are no services are planned at this time. White Funeral Home of Independence is in charge of arrangements.
