Alice Marie Leohr was born on October 11, 1918, in Waterloo, the daughter of Edward and Mary (Powers) Buehler. On October 16, 1936, she was united in marriage to Harold “Hap” Leohr in Waterloo. The couple owned Hap’s French Fries and Hap’s Market for many years.

Alice was also a senior companion and a member of Linden United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, going to casinos, and was her families’ “official caregiver.” Alice died at the age of 99 on Thursday, March 8, 2018, at Unity Point Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo.

Alice is survived by many loving family members.
