Janice M. Wieckhorst

January 3, 1944 - February 13, 2018

Janice M. Wieckhorst, 74, of Hudson, died Tuesday, February 13 at Cedar Falls Health Care.

She was born January 3, 1944 in Mt. Pleasant daughter of Arthur and Margaret Rogers
Patterson. She married David L. Wieckhorst on April 10, 1971 in Cedar Falls. He died June 27, 2015.

Janice worked as a Reference Librarian at the University of Northern Iowa and later worked in the Special Education division of the AEA 267.

Janice is survived by a son, Jonathan Wieckhorst of Hudson; a daughter, Rachel Wieckhorst of Cedar Falls; and by two sisters, Sarah (Howard) Conkey and Penny Patterson both of Hot Springs, Arkansas.

She was preceded in Death by her husband; her parents; and by a brother, Johnny Patterson.

A memorial visitation will take place from 6-7 p.m. on Monday, February 19 at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway.

Memorials may be directed to North Star Community Services or the Cedar Bend Humane Society.
