Waterloo, Iowa - Arthur C. Kennedy, 76, of 1226 W. Sixth St., died Saturday, May 30, at home, of natural causes.

He was born June 2, 1921, in Waterloo, the son of Fred and Mary Lubbs Kennedy. He married Patricia Anisworth Stevens on Oct. 23, 1958 in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

Mr. Kennedy worked at Deere & Co. for 32 years, retiring in 1978 as foundry supervisor. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Ronald Stevens of Greeley Colo., and Mark Kennedy of Waterloo; a daughter, Ann Schyuler of Waterloo; five grandchildren; a brother, Robert of Waterloo; and a sister, Genevieve Kerfoot of Waterloo.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Harry; and four sisters: Hazel Wright, Lucille Evans, Marian Toothman and Joan Ralston.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Locke Funeral Home.
