Biography--

Janice Marlene "Jan" Lott, 80, of Waterloo, Iowa, died at her home on Sunday, January 7, 2018 after a lengthy illness.

She was born February 6, 1937, in Iowa City, the daughter of Wayne and Helena Nagel Goodrich and graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1955.

Jan married Robert R. "Bob" Lott December 30, 1954 at Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Waterloo.

She was a nursing assistant at Country View Care Center for years retiring in 1998. She attended Heartland Vineyard Church.

Jan enjoyed gardening, sewing and quilting. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She attended their sporting events and was their biggest cheerleader. Jan liked the simple things in life and was the caretaker of the family.

She is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob”; son, David of Waterloo; son, Rodney (Nicole) of Glendale Heights, IL; daughter, Judy Lott of Waterloo; daughter, Sue Jensen of San Diego, CA; 3 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and 3 sisters.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
