Biography--

Cheryl Scholl, 69, of Waterloo, died at her home Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017.

She was born July 19, 1948, in Waterloo to Victor H. and Myrtle Kraft Scholl.

She graduated from Waterloo East High School, attended the University of Northern Iowa and later received her master's from Upper Iowa University. Cheryl began working at the Waterloo Public Library in August 1964 and continued to work there until her death.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and was involved in several boards and committees including the perpetual trust fund and financial management committee. She served almost 20 years as the CWA Local Chapter vice president for the librarians union.

Cheryl is survived by several cousins; nieces and nephews; and many close friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
