Arden B. Miller, 68, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at UnityPoint Health Allen Hospital.

He was born November 19, 1949 in Faribault, Minnesota, the son of Dayton and Lois Sparks Miller. He was a graduate of Dubuque Senior High School.

He married Doris “Diane” Allison on March 18, 1972 in Fountain, Colorado; she preceded him in death on May 20, 2012. Arden worked for John Deere Co. for 27 years, retiring in 2004. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era.

Survived by: his mother, Lois Miller of Dubuque; two daughters, Jennifer (Jared) Boyd of Waterloo, Jaime (Scot Reuter) Gelner of Washburn; seven grandchildren, Cameron, Branden and Mackenzie Frederick, Julean Boyd, Gage and Trevor Gelner, Kylee Reuter and one brother, Kent (Cindy) Miller of Anamosa.

He was preceded in death by his father; his wife; three sisters: Connie Miller, Debbie Miller, Polly Trainor; and one brother, Jeff Miller.
