Biography--

Betty L. Tatum, 76, of Waterloo, Iowa, died at her home, on Saturday, December 9, 2017, of natural causes.

Betty was born on December 19, 1940 in Fisher, Arkansas, the daughter of Golman and Girtie (Brawley) Sanders.

She graduated in 1958 from East High.

Betty married James H. Tatum in January of 1959 in Fisher, Arkansas.

She worked for many years at Younkers in Waterloo in the lingerie department.

She is survived by her husband, James Tatum of Waterloo; two sons, Chris (Bonnie) Tatum of Waterloo and Steven (Krysten) Tatum of Ashland, NE; five grandchildren: James, Michael, Josh, Matt, and Franklin Tatum; numerous great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Simmons of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Frank Sanders.
