Leon Whitehead, 58, a former Epworth resident, died at 6:15 p.m. Friday in Waterloo will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Chapel of Memory there.

Mr. Whitehead was a graduate of the Epworth Seminary and the University of Dubuque. For the past 25 years he has been city salesman for the Standard Oil Co., in Waterloo.

Surviving are his wife, Janet Reinagle Whitehead; a daughter, Nancy Lee; two brothers, Harry J., Cedar Rapids, and George E., Lakeland, Fla.; and four sisters, Mrs. Phillip (Hattie) Pfersch, Milwaukee, Mrs. George (Laura) Hohmann, Dubuque, Mrs. William (Marie) Kirby, Farley, and Mrs. John (Florence) Brown, Hazelton, Ia.
