Biography--

Dale W. Clark, 92, of Waterloo, Iowa, died at his home Monday, October 2, 2017.

He was born January 2, 1925 in Hubbard, Iowa, son of Wilbur and Goldena Mossman Clark.

Dale married Margery A. Smuck on November 5, 1948 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua; she died September 25, 2015.

He worked at John Deere, then Armour Fertilizer Works, later at the Standard Service Station in Evansdale, Iron Workers Union, and also drove for C&S Car Co., Holdiman Motors and Advanced Heat Treat.

Dale served in the United States Army with the 112th Calvary during World War II.

He is survived by three daughters: Peggy (Buck) Buchwald and Jeanne Lucas, both of Waterloo, and Kathy (Jim) Miller of Cedar Falls; two sons, Dave (Jodi) Clark of Waterloo and Bob Clark of Florida; nine grandchildren; six great‑grandchildren; one great‑great-grandson; a sister, Shirley Morton of Webster City, Iowa and a brother in law, Charles Smuck Jr. of Iowa Falls.
