CEDAR FALLS/NOVEMBER 25, 1918: Mrs. John Moore dies suddenly at home. Mrs. John Moore, age 50, dies of apoplexy at her home on Olive Street at 9 am yesterday. Just a week ago, Mr. and Mrs. Moore received a telegram advising that their son had been seriously wounded in action during July. No information has been received as to his present condition. Mrs. Moore lived in Black Hawk County all her life. Surviving are her husband and 3 sons, including the boy in France and one daughter.
