Obituary: CEDAR FALLS--Services for Clara D. Ilax, 82, of 210 Olive Street, will be 10:30a.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church with burial in Greenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Ilax died Saturday (March 26) at Sartori Memorial Hospital of natural causes.

She was born Nov 20, 1905 at Cedar Falls, the daughter of David L. and Alice Rexstrew Savage. She married Nicholas M. Ilax March 21, 1921 in Cedar Falls. He died in 1961.

Survivors include a son, Jim of Cedar Falls, four daughters, Elaine Tesmer of Waterloo, Bertha Henry, Virginia Nicholas and Leona Williams, all of Cedar Falls; 19 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bertha Schwanke of Cedar Falls and Elsie Mitchell of Wauconda, Illinois.

She was preceded by a daughter, Marie Ravn; a granddaughter, Debra; a sister, Eleanor Anderson; and four brothers, George, John, Edgar and Charles.

Friends may call from 9 am to 9 pm Monday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and one hour before services Tuesday at the church.

Memorials may be made to the church.
