Biography--

Willie Mae “Bill” Bell, 84, of Waterloo, died on July 2, 2017 at her home of natural causes.

She was born on April 22, 1933 in Durant, MS; the daughter of Bill and Arlena (Glover) Edwards.

She worked as an event coordinator at Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center, retiring in 2007. She loved to play BINGO, cards, and gambling. Bill cherished her time spent with her family and friends.

Survivors include her significant other, John Franklin of Waterloo; a son, Terry (Marlena) Bell of Waterloo; a daughter, Rhonda (Jim) Bell of Waterloo; a son, Leslie Bell of Waterloo; a daughter, Damita (Theado) Willis of Waterloo; a daughter, Kim Caldwell of Waterloo; 20 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren; and a step-sister, Sharon Jackson of Chicago, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill Edwards and Arlena Jackson; a brother, Samuel Turner; and a step-brother, James Jackson, Jr.
