Biography--

Delores Sloan, 89, of Cedar Falls, formerly of Linn, Missouri, died Tuesday, June 27, at Martin Health Center of Western Home Communities.

She was born September 9, 1927, in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Dewey and Rose Alice Wilson Fagerlind. She married Richard Clair Sloan on June 8, 1952, at Central Christian Church, Waterloo. He died Oct. 9, 2000.

Delores was a member of Rivers Edge Christian Church, Waterloo.

Survived by: a daughter, Rita (Ron) Harris of Evansdale; three sons, Roger (Tina) of Broken Bow, Neb., Rodney of Des Moines and Reuben of Orange County, Calif.; six grandchildren, Charity Henry, Jennifer (Ken) Rawson, Benjamin (Rachel) Harris, Ranada Elfgren, Joshua (Courtney) Sloan and Dennis Sloan; and 14 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: her parents; a daughter, Rose Mary Sloan; three brothers: Paul, Merle and Edward Fagerlind; and three sisters: Patricia Heyer, Mary Scribner and Judy Shook.
