Lawrence Wisecup

Lawrence A. Wisecup, age 91, of Brownsburg, Indiana, and formerly of the Waterloo, Iowa, area, died June 8, 2017 at his home in Brownsburg.

Lawrence was born and raised in Boone county Iowa. He farmed with his father until his marriage to Betty Pates of Waterloo on January 6, 1947. Lawrence and Betty continued to farm; at Luther, then Sumner, and finally at Lehigh.

In 1957, they moved to Waterloo, Iowa. In 1963, Lawrence went to work at the John Deere downtown factory retiring from there in 1988.

Lawrence is survived by his wife Betty of 70 years, two children; Linda Kracht (Bernie) of Tripoli and Roger (Susan) of Brownsburg, Indiana. They are also survived by five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and two sisters; Ruby of Fort Dodge and Marge of Indianola.
