Biography--

Jeanette Curry, 84, of Waterloo, Iowa, and formerly of Dunkerton and Independence, died Saturday, May 27, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo.

She was born April 4, 1933, in Douglas Township in Bremer County, daughter of Lloyd and Sarah Beaumont Brown. She married William G. Curry on February 6, 1953, at St. John's Catholic Church in Independence.

Jeanette graduated from Dunkerton High School and was a home healthcare aide for Securasitter before retirement.

She is survived by her husband; three sons: Richard "Dick" (Susan) Curry of Jesup, Robert "Bob" (Diane) of Waterloo and James "Jim" (Gina) Curry of Raymond; five grandchildren: Clint (Deana Jolly) Curry, Sarah (Ricky) Nolan, Chelsea (Justin) Christensen, Lisa (Jeremy) Ciesielski and Justin Curry; and seven great-grandchildren, Brianna, Jaxon, Adalyn, Cade, Gavin, Tyler and Ava.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Dorothy Hoppenworth; and a brother, Cecil Brown.
