Dunkerton, Iowa – Beverly Ann Smock, 69 years old, of Dunkerton, died Thursday, February 16, 2017, at the Waverly Health Center, Waverly, Iowa.

She was born June 10, 1947, in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Everett Lampman and Leota Mae (Mishler) Lampman. She attended West High School in Waterloo graduating with the class of 1965. On November 21, 1964, she was united in marriage to Thomas Lynn Smock at Hagermann Baptist Church in Waterloo.

Beverly is survived by her husband Tom of Dunkerton; two sons, Todd (Cindy) Smock of Waverly, Chad Smock of Cedar Falls; three grandchildren: Ashley (Jerry) Chase, Stephanie (Michael Stevens) Smock, Dalton Smock; five great-grandchildren: Lukas, Landon, Liam, Arabella and Ledger; four sisters: Cheriene Riley of Phoenix, AZ, Karen (Edward) Dodge of Tampa, FL, Leah Deeds of Cedar Falls, Julie (Ken) Scharff of Colorado Springs, CO.

In addition to her parents, one brother, Duane Lampman preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at the White Funeral Home, Jesup, IA, with burial at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo, IA. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Monday and for an hour before on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials will be directed to the Waverly Chapter of Cedar Valley Hospice, 207 20thStreet N.W., Waverly, IA 50677.

Beverly will be remembered as a super great wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who always bragged that her father-in-law called her his favorite daughter-in-law. With her big smile, she made friends easily. She was an Avon sales representative for close to 30 years. She was a advid horseshoe pitcher and bowler, participating in many state and national tournaments, with a collection of trophies for her efforts. She will be missed by many, including her special friend, Donna Barnes and a very special granddaughter, Ashley.
