Tammy Diane (Fox) Banks-Bailey of Waterloo died from complications of cancer at Cedar Valley Hospice home.

She was born on October 10, 1957, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, daughter of Virginia Benham and Charles Fox. Tammy graduated from Central High School in 1975. Tammy was employed at Mid-American Energy; she also worked several other jobs: Eagles & Econo Foods, Statesman & Community Banks, GMAC, Child Support, and Menards through the years. Tammy married Emell J. Banks Jr. on August 2, 1973. He died on February 5, 2007. She later married Russell Bailey on May 18, 2014.

Tammy had three sons from her first marriage: Anthony (Jennifer) and Kristopher Banks from Waterloo, Daniel Banks of Tripoli; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters: Sharon Mosley Selix of Waterloo, Sheryl Mosley Gatewood of Wisconsin, Patricia Hawes of Florida; a brother, David Stapp of Texas; and two special friends, Vicki Lemons Alexander of Colorado and Tracy Keller of Waterloo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, William Bill Jess of Marion, Iowa.
