Biography--

Debra Ann Kunkle, 62, of Oelwein, Iowa, died Monday, August 29, 2016, at her home in Oelwein.

She was born July 21, 1954, in Cedar Falls, Iowa, the daughter of Dick and Irene (Landau) Matson. Debra graduated from Northern University High School in Cedar Falls in 1972. She married David Kunkle November 27, 1998 in Oelwein. Prior to her marriage she worked for the Hudson Vet Clinic.

Debra is survived by her husband, David Kunkle, of Oelwein; her mother, Irene Matson, of Cedar Falls; one sister, Barbara Shepard, of Cedar Falls, and one niece, Kelly (Andrei) Valiev, of Cedar Falls.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dick Matson.

Celebration of Life service will be 2:00 p.m, Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with visitation one hour before services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
