Biography--

Troy Norman Martin, 49, of Evansdale, Iowa, died on July 11, 2016 in New Hartford, Iowa.

He was born on September 6, 1966 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The son of Ralph and Cheryl (Hindenach) Martin. Troy graduated from Kentwood High School.

He married Tina Dunegan on August 28, 2009 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Troy was a self-employed painter, he previously worked for Personified Paint Company. He was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church in Elk Run Heights.

Troy is survived by his wife, Tina of Evansdale; two sons, Troy Martin, Jr. of Michigan and Ryan Swain of Waterloo; a daughter, Arihanna Currie of Waterloo; one grandchild; his mother and step-father, Cheryl and Arlo Ras of Grand Rapids, MI; mother-in-law, Janet Dunegan of Evansdale; two brothers, Scott (Mary) Ras and Denny (Nancy Post) Martin of Grand Rapids, MI; by three sisters: Kelly (Bob) Barney of Wellston, MN, Becky (Scott) Pritchard and Jodi (Adam) Crook of Grand Rapids, MI; and by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Martin.
