Family-directed Celebration of Life Services will take place at 5:00 PM on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Jesup Country Club; 530 North St, Jesup, Iowa.

Biography--

Christopher "Chris" Thorson, 36, of Quasqueton, Iowa, and formerly of Waterloo, Iowa, died at Buchanan County Health Center on Sunday, August 21, 2016.

Chris was born on October 21, 1979 in Iowa City, son of Brian Thorson and Patricia "Patty" Anderson.

He married Krystal L. Davis on June 21, 2003 in Quasqueton.

Chris worked for Bachmann Tool & Die as a machinist. He was very outdoorsy; Chris loved fishing and working on tractors and cars.

He is survived by his wife, Krystal; his mother, Patricia “Patty” (Pete Peters) Anderson; two sisters: Krishna (Jamie) Thorson of Billings, Montana and Jessica (Andy) Thorson of Aurora, Iowa; a brother, Brian (Ashley) Thorson of Billings, Montana; and many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his father; maternal and paternal grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.
