Shirley H. Lenton, 90, of Waterloo, died Monday, October 31, 2016 at her home.
She was born July 23, 1926 in LeRoy, Minnesota, the daughter of Henry and Sella (Hendrickson) Hendrickson. She was a 1944 graduate of LeRoy High School.
Shirley worked as a cook in many local clubs and dining facilities, retiring from Friendship Village in 1991.
She is survived by one daughter, Vicki Lenton of Englewood, CO; two sons, Larry Lenton of Waterloo and Brian Lenton of Pocahontas; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents; one son, Steve “Herbie” Lenton.
