Biography--

Curtis R. Tatum, 49, of Waterloo, Iowa, died Friday, December 16, 2016, at his home.

He was born February 25, 1967, in Waterloo the son of Billy Ray and Patricia Ann (Brown) Tatum. He was a graduate of Central High School and received his degree from Hawkeye Community College. Curtis married Jackie Bakkum in June of 2003; they were later divorced.

He worked as a tool and die designer.

He is survived by his parents, of Waterloo; one step-son, Cody Bakkum of Mason City and one brother, Kevin (Melissa) Wilkens of Evansdale.

Preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
