Biography--

Audrey C. Kroells, age 81, of Waterloo, died Friday, December 16, 2016, at UnityPoint-Allen Hospital.

She was born March 22, 1935 in Menomonie, Wisconsin, the daughter of Arthur and Nora (Tubbs) Lokken and was a graduate of Menomonie (WI) High School. Audrey was united in marriage with Alvin A. Kroells on April 23, 1954, in Menomonie. He preceded her in death on August 23, 1999.

Audrey was a homemaker and she enjoyed traveling with her husband and going on day trips with her friends. She was fond of working crossword puzzles, reading and taking walks.

Survivors include two sons, James Kroells of Rosemount, Minnesota and Doug Kroells (Lynette Roberts) of Waterloo; a daughter, Valerie Kroells of Waterloo; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ardith Schlytter of Menomonie, Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alvin; and by four brothers and sisters: Marlene Harshman, Faye Kincade, Duane Lokken and Eula Panich.
