Biography--

Bobby Williams, 56, of Waterloo, Iowa, died December 23, 2016 at Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

He was born September 18, 1960 in Columbus, Mississippi, the son of the late O.D. and Mary Lee (Ross) Williams.

Bobby graduated in 1980 from Stephen D. Lee High School in Columbus, Mississippi. He also attended Hawkeye Tech.

He married Carolyn Harris and they were later divorced. He then married Mildred (Anderson) Williams on May 18, 1993.

He was formerly at GMAC Mortgage, Mediacom, and most currently Black Hawk Engineering as an engineer/electrician.

Bobby attended Union Missionary Baptist Church in Waterloo where he was also in the male chorus. He was also a member of Rotary Club, Junior Achievement, XclusiveRollers Social Club, and a bowling league.

He is survived by his wife; four sons: Tre’Varrius (Destiny) Williams, Te’Yari Williams, David Banks, and Armondo Adams; two daughters, Tashshay Williams and Tyra Williams; 12 brothers: Leon (Pertina) Williams of Waterloo, Eddie (Deloris) Williams of Kansas City, MO; Otis (Brenda) Williams, Tommie Lee (Gloria) Williams, Arthur C. (Hattie) Williams, Lewis (Vickey) Williams, Nathaniel Williams, Freddie B. (Sammie) Williams, Bobby (Luvenia) Hill, Kenneth Williams, Fernandez Williams, and Lucious Williams all of Columbus, MS; 11 sisters: Mattie (Reginald) Allen and Patricia Williams both of Waterloo, Betty Williams Jones, Laura (Larry) Hopkins, Susie A, Williams, Teri White, Willie May (Tommie) Frazier all of Columbus, MS; Diana Williams of St. Louis, MO; Cassandra Harris of Meridian, MS; Julie Owens of Chicago, IL; Hattie McGrew of Memphis, TN; eight grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, O.D. Williams; mother, Mary Lee Williams; four brothers: John D. Williams, James E. Williams, Wade Williams, and Sammie Lee Williams; and by two sisters, Mary Francis Williams and Addie Williams.
