Biography--

Jean L. Fank, 76, of Waterloo, Iowa, died Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Covenant Medical Center.

She was born May 13, 1940 in Waterloo the daughter of Lester and Verna (Davis) Hesse. She was a graduate of Waterloo West High School. She married Reynold F. Fank on June 4, 1960 at St. Nicholas Church in Evansdale; he preceded her in death on November 22, 2008.

Jean worked as an Avon representative for many years. She was a member of the Avon Presidents Club.

She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey R. (Dawness) Fank of Janesville, Michael S. (DeAnna) Fank of Boone; nine grandchildren: Jonathon, LaRay, Leigha, Lauren, Jeffrey, Heidi, Scott, HolliAnna and Luke; one great grandson, Brayden; and by one sister, Joann (Don) McKenna of Cedar Falls.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and one brother in infancy.
