Private burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery was held on March 21 per Doris’ wishes.

Doris Mae Stafford, age 76, of Evansdale, died on March 19, 2017.

She was born on April 2, 1940 in Ringgold, VA; the daughter of Robert H. and Kate (Mayfield) Keller.

Doris married Glenn Maurice Stafford on August 7, 1970 in Cedar Falls; he preceded her in death on November 7, 2006.

She is survived by two step-daughters, Sandra S. Gosoroski of Windsor, MO, and Glenda S. Sawyer of Crossville, TN; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Donnie Gray; half-brother, John Keller; and a daughter in infancy.
