CEDAR FALLS, IOWA – Ruth E. Kelly, 92, of Cedar Falls died Saturday, February 11, 2017, at NewAldaya Lifescapes in Cedar Falls.

She was born July 26, 1924 in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of Raymond and Nelle Brentlinger Hohler. She married Donald Kelly in 1948.

Ruth earned her BA degree in Sociology from Defiance College in Ohio in 1948. She was a homemaker throughout her adult life.

Survived by: two sons, Mark Kelly of Titonka and David (Darla) Kelly of Waterloo; a daughter, Ellen (Ken) Mange of Petaluma, CA; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; and one brother, Richard (Shirley) Hohler of Mason, OH.

Preceded in death by a brother, Donald Hohler.

Memorial Services: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 25th at First Presbyterian Church in Cedar Falls with visitation for one hour prior to the service. Private inurnment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Cedar Falls. Richardson Funeral Service is assisting the family.
