Obituary for Gudrun H. Jungweber

Cedar Falls, Iowa - Gudrun H. Jungweber, 66, went home to be with the Lord on March 14, 2017, with her family by her side at Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo.

Gudrun was born March 2, 1951, in Mainz, Germany, to Alfred Jungweber and Hilda Anderson. She graduated from East High School in Waterloo in 1969. She attended college at Upper Iowa University and graduated in 2015 with double major in Psychology and Sociology.

Her interests included, spending time with family, leading Bible Studies, reading and walking. Her goal in life was to live a life that honored the Lord Jesus.

Survived by: a daughter, Heidi (Robert) Brandon of Glen Burnie, MD; three sons: Derek Moeller of Cedar Falls, IA, Matthew (Mihaela) Moeller of Fridley, MN, and Brent Moeller of Cedar Falls; five grandchildren; her mother, Hilda Anderson of Cedar Falls; two sisters, Ursula (Bill) Love of Port Byron, IL, Christa Good of Waterloo, IA; three brothers, Werner (Nina) Wittmann of Florida, Robert (Chris) Jungweber of Cedar Falls, and Tony Jungweber of Des Moines, IA; aunts and uncles: Marga and Clarence Kirchhoff, Ellen Ehlert, Heinz and Sharon Hofmann; and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life service in Gudrun’s memory will be held at Church of Christ of Cedar Falls on Saturday, April 8th at 11am. The address for the service is: 2727 W. 4th St Cedar Falls, Iowa 50613.
