Biography--

Susan Marie Meyers, 52, of Waterloo, Iowa, died Friday, June 3, 2016, at home. She will be missed by so many.

Susan was born September 25, 1963, at Schoitz Hospital in Waterloo.

She graduated from high school in 1982 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She married Frank Blumberg in 1986 and the couple later divorced.

Susan’s favorite things in life included Angus, her dog whom she loved and missed terribly; LOVED the band, AC/DC; and listening to Rock and Roll. Susan also enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She prided herself in being a hard worker, whether through employment as a laborer and supervisor or for completing tasks and helping others by cutting wood, working outdoors, or anything that involved using her collection of private tools.

Susan is survived by her parents, Jack and Nancy Meyers of La Porte City and Sandy Lentzkow Haynes of Winthrop, Iowa; four brothers: Jeff Meyers (Robert) of Clear Lake, Iowa, Brooke Meyers of La Porte City, Shannon (Michelle) Meyers of Marion, Iowa, and Greg Meyers of Waterloo; a sister, Lori (Mitchell) Byers of Grundy Center, Iowa; several nieces and nephews; a large extended family along with many friends she considered family.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Eva and Lu Meyers, Juanita and Art Ferger, Charles and Tootie Newlon, and Mary and LuVerne Lentzkow, and the love of her life, Angus.
