Ann H. Wilharm Standish, 85 of Monona, WI, formerly of Waterloo, Iowa, died Friday, July 8, 2016 at her daughter's home. She was born October 31, 1930 in Waterloo, daughter of Richard and Emily Aitken Wilharm.  She graduated from West High School in 1949 and attended UNI for one year. She married R. Kent Standish on October 3, 1953 in Waterloo.

She was a teacher's associate at Irving Elementary from 1974 to 1987, retiring in 1987. Ann was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.  She was past president of PEO Chapter IX, lifetime member of Elklettes, and a past member of the Waterloo Women's Club. 

She is survived by her husband R. Kent Standish of Monona; her daughter, Kim Standish of Monona; and her son, Richard Standish of Carrollton, TX; daughter-in-law, Sue Standish of Carrollton; daughter‑in‑law, Barbara Standish of Iowa City; brother, Robert Wilharm of Waterloo; and five grandchildren: Nicolas Standish and Emily Standish, both of Carrollton, and Katy Standish and twins, Elizabeth and Megan Standish, all of Iowa City.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents; son, Craig Standish in 1998; sister, Mary Rhinehart; and brothers, William and Jack Wilharm.
