Leonard A. "Bud" Randall, 91, of Waterloo, formerly of Jesup, died at NewAldaya Lifescapes, Cedar Falls on Thursday, October 13, 2016 of natural causes.
He was born March 2, 1925 in New Hampton, Iowa, the son of James and Ethel Lynberg Randall. He married Irma Bond on December 30, 1947; she died December 20, 1972. He married Edna Jean Reeves McCombs on April 6, 1974 in Nashua.
Bud worked for Chamberlain Manufacturing for 47 years, retiring in 1990. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Bud enjoyed woodworking and bird watching. He loved his family and spending time with them. He was a kind man, but would give you a hard time for the fun of it. He enjoyed trips to the casino and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife: Jean of Waterloo; 5 daughters: Connie (Daryl) Waters and Paula (Bob) Yount, all of Waterloo; daughters: Marla (Greg) Wilkinson of Indianola, Sandy (Travis) Mesenbrink of Three Forks, Montana and Barb Iverson of Georgia; son, Kevin (Denise) McCombs of Jesup; 25 grandchildren; 31 great‑grandchildren; three brothers: Stan (Jean) Randall of Waterloo, Jerry Randallj of Dunkerton, and Rodney (Pat) Randall of New Hampton.
Bud was preceded by a son, Ronnie McCombs; brothers: Albert, Rick, Jay and Dale Randall; sisters, Joyce Reeves and Patsy Wiltze.
