Obituary for Randall DeVere Pease

Randall DeVere Pease, 62, died Thursday, March 16 at UnityPoint Health Allen Hospital from complications of muscular dystrophy.

He was born on May 19, 1954 in Waterloo son of Roger Pease and Mary Ann Herberg Pease. Randy graduated from Waterloo West High School, Indian Hills Community College, and Buena Vista College with a Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration. He worked in Quality Control at Flaco Aluminum, retiring in 2005.

He is survived by a son, Jason D. Pease of Iowa City; his father, Roger Pease of Cedar Falls; his mother, Mary Ann Pease of Bemidji, Minn.; a brother, Kevin (Audrey) Pease of Nashville, Tenn.; two sisters, Lynell (James) Fuller of Elmo, Texas and Lynor (William) Koch of Waterloo; and a step-sister, Sue (Rich) Polzin of Alden, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his step mother, Janet L. Pease.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 21, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Waterloo with burial in Cedar Crest Cemetery, Jesup. Public visitation will be from 4:30 – 7:00 p.m. Monday, at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street and also one hour preceding services at the church.

Memorials may be made to the family.
