Obituary for Mary Jeanette D. Wilcox
Mary Jeanette D. Wilcox, 73, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, March 1, at home.
She was born June 27, 1943, in Lewiston, Maine, daughter of Fernand and Laura Blais Buteau. She married Dale Wilcox on May 10, 1980, in Okoboji.
She was employed as a cake decorator with Hy-Vee and as the First Cook with the Waterloo School system.
Survivors include: Her husband of Waterloo; one son, Robert (Cindy) Fraichard II of Winchester, KY; two daughters. Cathryn (Rene) Evenson of Waterloo and Heidi Ann Marquette of Waterloo; two brothers, Richard (Diane) Buteau and Joseph (Eileen) Buteau of Massachusetts; and one sister Theresa (Norman) Frenire of Massachusetts, nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: her parents; a brother, Robert Buteau; a sister, Fernand Stewart; and a step-son Edward Wilcox.
Services will be 11:00am Monday, at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00pm Sunday and one hour prior to services both at the funeral home.
