MRS. GERTRUDE ADAMS. A former resident of this city Mrs. Gertrude Adams, died at her home in Yankton, S. D., at 5:45 a. m. Saturday. Death was caused by old age and complications.

Mrs. Adams was horn in Germany and brought to this country when a child. She lived in Waterloo about eight years, going to Eagan, S. D. three years ago.

Surviving are three daughters Mrs. Kate Becker, Eagan, S. D., Mrs. Conrad Faust, Waterloo. and Mrs. Amelia Hardin, Nora Springs. Two sons, John Adams, Herrick, S. D. and George Stein, Germantown, S. D.

The body arrived in Waterloo at 1 o'clock today and was taken to the O'Keefe & Towne undertaking parlors.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p. m. from the Fritz church in Bennington township. Burial will be in the Bennington township cemetery.
