MRS. F. J. CHAPMAN. Mrs. F. J. Chapman, age 44 died at 10:20 p.m. yesterday at the family home at Chautauqua park, after an illness of five years duration. Death resulted from anemia.
Pearl I. Elliott, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Elliott, was born at Traer, Iowa, Sept. 30, 1879. At the age of five years she moved with her parents to Jesup, Iowa, and was educated in the public schools there.
She was married Sept. 10, 1902, to Fred J. Chapman, and for the past 15 years had made their home in Nashua, coming to Waterloo last fall. The husband and one daughter, Marjorie, survive. Also surviving are the following relatives: The mother, Mrs. Lucy Elliott, and sister, Mrs. J. A. Whitney, both of Waterloo; five brothers, Claude, of Jesup, Clyde, Claire, Jay and Fred, all of Waterloo. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. from Peterson Bros. chapel, with Rev. Mr. Green from Nashua in charge. Interment will be in Elmwood.
