Angelika M. Boeschen, 73, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

She was born March 19, 1943 near Berlin, Germany. She married Reinhard G. Boeschen November 17, 1961 in Hamburg, Germany. Both immigrated to the United States in 1963.

She and her husband owned and operated gas stations and convenience stores in Waterloo until they retired in 2005.

Survivors include: her husband; four sons, Reinhard (Chantel) of Waterloo; Gerhard (Melissa) of Dunkerton, Richard (Kelly) of Traer, and Andrew (Sara) of Waterloo; one daughter, Iris Strieter of Waterloo; 16 grandchildren, Alec, Austin, Jacob, Morgan, McKenna, McKayla, Mariah, MeLayna, Ryan, Jamie, Aaron, Mykael, Sheanna, Andrew, Dylan, Haylee.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. Friday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway.
