William C. Micou III

August 19, 1977 - May 23, 2016

William “Billy” C. Micou III, 38, of Waterloo, died Monday, May 23.

He was born August 19, 1977, in Ames, the son of William C. Micou Jr. and Jane Miller Streit. William graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1995 and was the manager of Club 319 in Waterloo.

Survivors include his father, of Waterloo; his mother, of Waterloo; two sons, Yamir Micou and Kenyon Levy-Micou, both of Waterloo; two daughters, Shafiya Micou and Eanna Micou both of Waterloo; a brother, Brett Streit of Waterloo; maternal grandmother, Bessie Micou of Waterloo; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Preceded in death by: paternal grandfather, William C. Micou Sr; maternal grandparents, Robert and Hazel Miller.

Services: 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 31, at Antioch Baptist Church with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation one hour prior to services at the church. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials: may be directed to the family at 208 East 8th Street, Waterloo, 50703, where they will receive friends.
