Biography--
Mildred Helen “Millie” Semelroth, 84, of Waterloo, Iowa, died Friday, May 13, 2016 at her home of natural causes.
She was born October 12, 1931 in Cresco, Iowa, the daughter of Rudolph and Agnes (Citek) Bronner. She was a 1949 graduate of Cresco High School. She married Donald H. Semelroth on October 2, 1953 in San Francisco, California.
Millie was employed as a janitor for the John Deere Company for eight years; and then in the lunch program at Lowell Elementary School for seven years. She was a member of Trinity American Lutheran Church. Mildred enjoyed reading the Bible and loved her dog, Bouncer and cat, Diamond.
She is survived by her husband, Donald of Waterloo; two sons, Bradley Semelroth of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Mark Semelroth of Cocoa, Florida; five grandchildren: A.J. (Sonya) Semelroth, Abby (Doug) Roethler, Eric (Jessica) Semelroth, Kameron Semelroth and Ashley (Christian) Rivera; 10 great-grandchildren and two brothers, Jerome Bronner of Waterloo and Leonard (Carol) Bronner of Cresco.
Preceded in death by: her parents; one sister, Grace Mason and one brother, Raymond Bronner.
