Waterloo, Iowa – Rebekah L. Leisinger, 88, of Waterloo, died Thursday, May 12, at the Bartels Lutheran Home in Waverly.

She was born May 27, 1927, in Waterloo, daughter of Carroll and Ida Moe Miller. She married William H. Leisinger June 10, 1945 in Waterloo. He died November 13, 1995.

Rebekah was employed, as an office manager, at Hawkeye Tech, where she worked for 23 years until her retirement.

Survivors include three sons: Darryll (Lynda) of Wellington, Kan., Darwyn (Bernice) of Waverly and Warren (Areatha) Leisinger of Camano Island, Wash.; a sister, Barbara Meyeraan of Waterloo; a brother, Neil (Marilyn) Miller of Cedar Falls; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Leisinger; two brothers, Carroll Jr. and Larry Miller; two sisters, Inabelle Payne and Opal Kough; a brother-in-law, William Meyeraan; and a grandson, Jamie Leisinger.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May, 17 at Trinity Lutheran Church , Waterloo, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, Waterloo, and for one hour before services at the church on Tuesday.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice, Trinity Lutheran Church or Bartels Lutheran Home.
