Vorotta Jean Johnson, 62, of Waterloo, died Monday, May 2, at Country View.

She was born January 22, 1954, in St. Paul, Minn, the daughter of Hiram Johnson Sr. and Jacqueline Noland-Roberts.

She was employed as a LPN at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minn.

Survivors include: her son, Charmus (Angela) Wilson-Anderson of Waterloo; two daughters, Leneaka Johnson of Waterloo and Chelia Johnson of Minneapolis, Minn; two grandchildren, Vonnisha Hill and Shakeem Anderson, another granddaughter on the way; five brothers, Hiram Johnson Jr. of San Antonio, Texas, Henry Johnson of Waterloo, Rodney Roberts of Hopkins, Minn, William Roberts of Waterloo and Thad Roberts of Waterloo; four sisters, Kim Cunningham of Minneapolis, Minn, Lisa K. Roberts of Waterloo, Anita Burnside of Des Moines, and Gail Alexander of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by: her parents; her granddaughter, Donnisha Hill and her grandson, Adonnis Ray Hill Jr.

Celebration of Life gathering will take place Saturday, May 14, from 11 A.M. - 3 P.M. at Knights of Pythias, 224 Ash St. Waterloo.

Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street assisted the family.
