WATERLOO, IOWA - Lawrence Loesche, 100, of Mesa, Arizona, died Friday, may 6, 2016.

He was born July 13, 1915, in Petersburg, son of Henry and Mary Thole Loesche. He married Maxine Schaack Loesche at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Waterloo.

Lawrence was employed at Joh nDeere for more than 31 years, retiring in August 1977. He moved to Arizona in 2001. He was a member of the UAW and a third-degree member of the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by a daughter, Arlene (Vince) Branick of Dayton, Ohio; two sons, Richard (Sue) and John (Kit), both of Arizona; five grandchidlren; three great-grandchidlren; a sister, Delores Lammers of Dyersville; and a brother, Sylvester (Alma) of Dyersville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and a brother.

Services will be Wednesday, may 11, 2016 at St. George Catholic Church in Apache Junction, Arizona. Condolences may be left at www.melchermission.com.
