Leonard Caughron

October 13, 1959 - May 6, 2016

Leonard L. Caughron, 56, of Waterloo, died Friday, May 6, at UnityPoint Health – Allen Hospital.

He was born October 13, 1959 in Fairfield, California, son of Robert and Judith Weiland Caughron. He married Rebecca Armstrong in Nashua. They were later divorced.

Lenny was employed with the Waterloo Street Department for 21 years until disability.

Survivors include three sons: Jeremiah Steward of Waterloo, Justin Caughron of Waterloo, and Joel Caughron of Waterloo; one daughter, Jennifer (Jesse Lynch) Caughron of Waterloo; his father of Waterloo; a sister, Carol (Bill) Hundley of Waterloo; and a brother, Lonny (Brenda) Caughron of Pomeroy; and three grandchildren: Amy Caughron, Kyra Steward, and Jackson Steward.

He was preceded in death by his mother; and a brother, Robert Caughron, II.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday and for an hour before services Monday at the funeral home.
