Maurine Larson

Maurine Larson, 95, of Waterloo, formerly of Swea City and Parkersburg, died at Ravenwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Waterloo, Iowa, on Friday, May 6, 2016.

She was born August 11, 1920 in Swea City, the daughter of Harry and Julia Isaacson Linde.

She married Clyde Earl Larson on December 13, 1941 in Princeton, Missouri; he died June 8, 2015. And graduated from Swea City High School and attended AIB in Des Moines. Maurine was the bookkeeper for 40+ years in the family business, Linde Implement Co. She was a member of the Open Bible Church.

She is survived by a son, Gary (Peggy) Larson, Cedar Falls; four grandchildren: Melody (Greg) Nevenhoven, Aplington; Melissa (Judd) Nevenhoven, Waukee; Melinda Ross, Des Moines; and Mike (Janelle) Larson, West Des Moines; three step‑grandchildren: Diane (Nathan) Rausch, Hudson; Christopher (Kasey) Sents, Aplington; and Angela (Carl) Brower, Parkersburg; ten great‑grandchildren and seven step-great‑grandchildren; three great‑great‑grandchildren; and her brother, Merlin “Tuffy” Linde, Norfolk, Nebraska.

She was preceded in death by her brothers: Alvin, Roger and Wallace Linde; and by sisters: Elaine Ellis and Gloria Petersen.
