Erwin “Erv” Luloff

July 13, 1937 - May 3, 2016

Erwin “Erv” Luloff was born July 13, 1937 in Jesup, Iowa; the son of Carl and Erna (Riensche) Luloff. He graduated from Jesup High School. Erv served in the United States Army as a machine gunner, and received a Good Conduct Medal and (rifle) marksmen.

He was united in marriage to Carol Barnett on February 13, 1960 at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in LaPorte City. Erv was a foundry supervisor, but retired as a Senior Engineering Analyst in the Product Material Unit at John Deere Foundry in Waterloo, after 28 years of service.

Erv passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo, at the age of 78.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son Randy; and two sisters: Delores Blad and Betty Peterson.

Erv is survived by his wife Carol of Waterloo; a daughter Theresa Luloff of Waterloo; a son Robert (Stacy) Luloff of St. Paul; four grandchildren: Tana (Dustin) Rawdon, Devin Luloff, Brittany (Erin) Brown and Bryce Luloff; three brothers: Donald (Kathy) Luloff of Montgomery, Alabama, Melvin (Nancy) Luloff of Cook, Minnesota and Norman Luloff of Hiawatha and a sister Susan Luloff of Coralville.

Erv will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
