Colleen Elizabeth O'Toole, 12 years old, of rural Hudson, Iowa , died on Sunday, August 20, 2000, at her home due to congenial abnormalities. She was born on May 23, 1988, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Thomas James and Elizabeth Helen Holcombe O'Toole. She was a member of the Cedar Heights Baptist Church family.

Colleen is survived by her parents, Beth and Tom O'Toole of rural Hudson, Iowa; a brother, James O'Toole, at home, her maternal grandparents, Marjorie and Walter Holcombe of Davenport, Iowa and her paternal grandmother, Margaret W. O'Toole of Aledo, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, James O'Toole.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 23, 2000, at the Cedar Heights Baptist Church in Cedar Falls, Iowa, with Rev. Tom Hlad officiating. Casket bearers: James O'Toole, Robert Holcombe, Walter Holcombe, and Jeff Witt. Burial at Wilson Cemetery in Independence, Iowa. White Funeral Home of Independence is charge of arrangements.

A memorial fund has been established.
