Neil T. Mozena (1936-2016)

CEDAR FALLS, IOWA - Neil T. Mozena, 79, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, April 24, 2016, at his home.

He was born August 15, 1936 in Carroll, Iowa, the son of Theodore and Delores (Jordan) Mozena. He married Barbara Claude on November 15, 1958 at St. John Vienny Church in Fairmont, Minnesota.

He graduated from Coon Rapids High School and attended Iowa State Teachers College and AIB in Des Moines. He was employed in Customer Service with Ozark and then TWA Airlines, retiring after 37 years.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; two daughters, Kim (Jerry) Steward of Cedar Falls and Kari Mozena of Los Angeles, California; two sons, Todd Mozena of Burleson, Texas, and Tad (Jill) Mozena of Cedar Falls; five grandchildren: Ryan (Adrianna) Steward, Jessica (Kevin McQuerrey) Steward, Shelby (Dylan Stedfield) Mozena, Luke and Logan Mozena; a step granddaughter, Samantha (John) Mackay; two great-granddaughters, Zoe and Reese Stedfield; and two brothers-in-law, Bob (Sharon) Claude of Sun Lake, Arizona, and Bill (Sharon) Claude of Prague, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wendell and Marie Claude.

Services: Monday at St. Patrick Catholic Church with inurnment at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation Sunday at Richardson Funeral Service, and also for one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.
